About The Position

Join Our Team at Lutheran Village at Miller's Grant! We’re currently seeking dedicated PRN Concierge's to become part of our caring and mission-driven community. This position will be 8:00am-4:00pm, every other weekend on an as needed basis. As a Concierge, you will play a key role in supporting our administrative team, while providing a welcoming and helpful presence to residents and guests entering our community. What You’ll Do as an LVMG Concierge: Operate telephone, paging, radio, voicemail, and computerized phone systems, answer calls professionally and direct inquiries to appropriate individuals or departments. Provide information and materials (e.g., brochures, directions, newsletters, calendars) in accordance with policies. Greet visitors and assist with guest room reservations, directing them to the proper offices, personnel, or residents. Prepare event and tour signage and assist with maintaining meeting room and event calendars. Manage work orders using computer software and support administrative staff as needed. Maintain positive, cooperative relationships with residents, families, coworkers, and community partners. Perform all duties aligned with the organization’s mission and comply with established policies and procedures. Participate in mandatory training, in-service sessions, and cross-training opportunities to enhance clerical support skills. Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Experience in a professional setting.
Demonstrated discretion, professionalism, and sound judgment in handling sensitive and confidential matters.
Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively and tactfully with individuals at all levels, including residents, staff, families, external vendors/authorities, and the public.
Strong attention to detail in writing, proofreading, managing priorities, and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Proven ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment, demonstrating a cooperative, respectful, and compassionate approach to colleagues and resident care.
Skilled in the use of standard office equipment and technology.
Maintains professionalism, composure, and a positive attitude when managing challenging situations.
Physically able to move throughout the workday and lift items up to 20 pounds using safe handling practices.
May be necessary to assist with resident evacuation during emergency situation.
