Position SummaryThe Winnie Palmer Hospital for Women & Babies Concierge provides an immediate response and resolution to the guests concern or request while exceeding customer service expectations. Qualifications Essential Functions Enhances the guest experience, in collaboration with all facility departments. Understands and demonstrates outstanding behaviors and attitude that support the service philosophy, mission, vision and values of Orlando Health. Provides orientation of the upgraded amenities program to patients and guests via the maternal education facility tour, education classes and pre admission process. Coordinates payment and confirmation of reservations for purchased packages. Monitors petty cash drawer, daily deposit of cash/credit receipts, monthly balance sheet report and internal department charges. Provides information for the marketing and sales of upgraded amenities program via group presentations, printed collateral and the Orlando Health website. Tracks inventory of over $25,000 in retail inventory. Works closely with Support Services on delivery processes for purchased amenities. Coordinates and confirms spa appointments. Assists patients and guests with dining, lodging, transportation and gift purchasing arrangements. Coordinates and assists with facility tours. Works closely with Orlando Health Foundation and Administration in the coordination of amenities for VIP patients/guests. Builds and maintains relationships with area businesses. Coordinates catering requests for family celebrations. Anticipates guests needs and responds to them in a timely manner. Answers requests for concierge assistance via telephone, fax and email in a timely manner. Maintains guest request tracking system (Concierge Assistant) and daily log book. Maintains concierge and VIP patient tracking/flag system in partnership with Patient Business. Maintains complimentary movie library and coordinates the delivery of movies in response to patient/guest’s requests. Maintains reasonably regular, punctual attendance consistent with Orlando Health policies, the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards. Maintains compliance with all Orlando Health policies and procedures. Other Related Functions Attends service planning committees. Reviews customer comments, identifies and suggests service improvement initiatives to ensure service excellence. Other duties as assigned.
