About The Position

Clarendale Ann Arbor, a senior living community, is seeking a hospitality-focused Concierge. This role offers the opportunity to engage with the life stories of residents and be part of a company that invests in its employees and the future of senior living. The Concierge serves as the first point of contact for the community, responsible for warmly and professionally greeting residents, guests, prospective employees, suppliers, vendors, and outside service providers daily.

Requirements

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite products
• Must demonstrate excellent telephone communication skills

Responsibilities

• Provide ongoing telephone coverage
• Solve issues presented by residents, guests, vendors, and suppliers in a manner that meets organizational objectives and ensures individuals feel appropriately served
• Keep difficult situations from escalating
• Accept delivery packages, document receipt in a log book, and notify the resident (recipient) of delivery
• Prepare maintenance work orders as requested by residents and staff
• Assist the Business Office Manager with projects/assignments
