About The Position

The Bungalows at Springfield East is seeking a Concierge to join their team! Shift details: 8 am - 4:00 pm PURPOSE Concierge The Concierge serves as the initial point of contact and creates the first impression for Phoenix Senior Living. This role is responsible for warmly welcoming potential residents, families, and visitors; managing incoming external and internal phone calls; and receiving, documenting, and communicating messages accurately and timely. The Concierge provides general community information in support of the Community Engagement Director and Executive Director, assisting with marketing and sales efforts. Additional responsibilities include supporting the Associate Director/HR Designee with recruitment-related activities, performing computer data entry, and completing other general administrative duties as assigned. The Concierge also monitors the Bistro area to ensure refreshments are stocked, the area is clean and welcoming, appropriate music is playing, and an overall pleasant atmosphere is maintained for residents and guests. PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Concierge CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE Oversees the community entry area for visitors, guest and residents, extends a warm welcome and greeting, offers and provides beverages to visitors and guests Contacts the Community Engagement Director and Executive Director or Department Director to meet with prospective residents, families, or visitors, and ensures wait times are minimal Greets potential candidates interested in learning more about Phoenix careers and job openings in the community. Directs candidates to apply online or captures the candidate’s information onsite to launch the recruitment process Answers incoming calls and resident calls within two to three (2 – 3) rings with the appropriate community greeting message and identification Tales complete messages with pertinent information (name, number, message, time, date) as appropriate and communicates messages to the intended recipient Offers and provides a community overview to the caller, determines who to forward the caller to, and notifies the caller who they are being transferred to, and announces the caller to the community associate Manages appointments for residents and family members, such as but not limited to hairdresser, transportation, and other services Sends get-well cards to residents in the community (obtain community leaders' signatures before delivering cards) Sends sympathy cards to families and/ or responsible parties as needed (obtain community leaders' signatures before delivering cards) #86pgm

Requirements

  • High School Diploma/ GED required
  • Proven customer service experience and skills
  • Class E license or the ability to obtain (at the employer's expense)

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge and experience in the Senior Living Industry preferred
