About The Position

Oakleigh of Macomb Senior Living Facility is looking for an amazing weekend Concierge. The Concierge is the person that meets and greets our residents daily and asks, “What can I do to make your day better?” They are responsible for top-of-the-line customer service and hospitality. Assisting the residents, maintaining their safety and well-being . Weekend Only Position

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
Able to pass a criminal background check.
Must be 18 years old.
Problem solving skills and critical thinking.
Strong knowledge of word, excel, calculator, copier, fax, and postage machine.
Knowledge of customer service principles and practice.
A positive attitude and the ability to arrive on time for every shift.

Responsibilities

Shows compassion and tenderness towards the residents and family members.
Assist with appointments and extracurricular activities.
Address and resolve residents’ complaints and concerns.
Protects resident’s confidentiality following HIPAA guidelines.
Maintains a clean work environment.
Creates and maintains a positive and friendly environment.
Encourages residents to participate in activities and outings.
Marketing, building relationships with the community.
Assisting and working closely with vendors.
Oversite of other departments to ensure expectations are met.
Answer multi-line telephone, screen and direct calls, take and relay messages, provide information to callers.
Give tours to potential clients and families.
Direct individuals to correct destination, deal with queries from the public and clients.
Ensures knowledge of staff movements in and out of organization.
Prepare letters and documents, receive, sort, and distribute mail, maintain office filing and organize meetings.
