About The Position

OSG is currently looking for a high visibility Unarmed Security Concierge! Oatridge Security Group is looking for an Unarmed Security Officer to join its rapidly growing team. The ideal Unarmed Security Concierge in this position will carry themselves in a very professional manner in all aspects of the job. Superb customer service experience is a must! Officers will be posted at the front desk periodically. Must be friendly and able to greet people as they enter and leave the building, as well as respond to alarms and emergencies as needed. The officers selected for this position will be comfortable communicating with all tenants in a courteous and professional manner. Candidates must be able to pass a background check and drug test. Candidates should have a clean driving record, be well groomed, articulate, dependable, and be a team player. The Officer does not act in the capacity of a law enforcement officer and has no arrest or apprehension powers. The work is performed outdoors and indoors. OSG has over 20 years' experience providing top of the line security services to the commercial sector and U.S government, operating throughout Washington and Oregon. In 2020, OSG was recognized as the SBA National 8(A) Graduate of the Year.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age.
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Prior military, civilian, or security officer experience preferred but not required.
Must be exceptionally well groomed, articulate, and dependable.
Professional references will be required for this position.
Must speak, read, write, and understand the English language, apply written rules, detailed orders, instructions and training material.
Excellent customer service via phone and face to face conversation, excellent written and spoken command of the English language.
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty up to the standards of OSG.
Candidates must be able to pass a background check and drug test.
Candidates should have a clean driving record
be a team player.

Responsibilities

Detect, deter, and report crime, fire, unusual events, and emergencies.
Required to follow all company personnel and safety policies and perform all assigned duties in a safe manner.
Will arrive at work at the designated time in proper uniform with any necessary equipment.
Will carry out general and special orders for assigned post.
Will communicate via radio, telephone and in-person, according to orders.
Will be responsible for cleanliness of uniform and assigned equipment.
Meet, greet, and interact professionally with clients and the general public.
Maintain poise and self-control under stress.
Construct and write clear, concise, accurate, and detailed reports in English.
Read, speak, understand, and apply printed rules, detailed orders, instructions, and training materials in English.
Must be comfortable turning away trespassers, loiterers, and transients (who might be under the influence of drugs or alcohol) on the client's property from a safe distance away.
