Summary Of A Concierge The Concierge acts as the first point of contact for residents, visitors, and families, ensuring a warm, professional, and helpful environment. This role supports the comfort, satisfaction, and well-being of residents by coordinating services, assisting with requests, and working closely with clinical and support staff.

Requirements

  • CNA certified.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Friendly, compassionate demeanor and ability to work with elderly residents.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and basic office technology.
  • Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience in customer service, hospitality, or senior care setting preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Greet and assist residents, families, and guests in a courteous and professional manner.
  • Coordinate non-clinical resident services such as transportation, dining reservations, event sign-ups, and personal requests.
  • Maintain a clean and welcoming lobby or front desk area.
  • Answer phones and direct calls appropriately.
  • Support new resident orientation and transition.
  • Handle resident requests and concerns, escalating when necessary.
  • Maintain logs, documentation, and reports as required.
  • Assist with administrative tasks and scheduling.
