About The Position

The Concierge role, scheduled for weekends from 7am to 3:30pm, is a vital position within the Health Care and Social Assistance industry, focused on delivering exceptional customer service and support to patients, visitors, and staff. Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in a customer service or front desk role, preferably in a healthcare or social assistance setting.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team during weekend shifts.
  • Basic computer proficiency, including familiarity with scheduling and communication software.

Nice To Haves

  • Certification in customer service or healthcare administration.
  • Experience working in a hospital, clinic, or social assistance environment.
  • Bilingual abilities, especially in Spanish or other commonly spoken languages in the community.
  • Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality standards.
  • First aid and CPR certification.

Responsibilities

  • Greet and assist patients, visitors, and staff promptly and courteously upon arrival.
  • Manage incoming phone calls and direct them to the appropriate departments or personnel.
  • Provide accurate information regarding facility services, directions, and policies.
  • Coordinate appointment schedules and assist with patient check-in and check-out processes as needed.
  • Monitor and maintain the cleanliness and organization of the reception and waiting areas.
  • Report any safety or security concerns to the appropriate authorities immediately.
  • Collaborate with healthcare and administrative teams to ensure seamless communication and service delivery.
  • Handle special requests and resolve minor issues to enhance the patient and visitor experience.
