About The Position

The Sonnenalp Hotel is looking to hire a Full-Time Year Round Concierge. This position will stay open for 30 days or until filled. The concierge is to extend the highest level of personalized service to all guests and owners. They should know the procedures and rotation system for One Willow Bridge Road reservations and assist in planning vacation weeks for club members.

Requirements

• Concierge experience preferred.
• Good spoken and written English.
• Clean and Valid Colorado driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Develop relationships with area restaurants, shops, clubs, salons, car rental agencies, shuttle services, florists, etc.
• Keep informed of all ongoing happenings in the area i.e. special events, concerts, sports and leisure activities.
• Possess a thorough knowledge of check-in and check out procedures.
• Responsible for operation of the PBX switchboard.
• Responsible for own cash drawer, must complete an inventory at the beginning and the end of a shift.
• Must gain in depth knowledge of HMS (property management system).
• Gain and display in depth knowledge of Alice, concierge program.
• Consistently note in HotSoS all guest comments and complaints as well as maintenance requests.
• Contact departing guests the day prior to offer transportation arrangements for their return to the airport.
• Assist in facilitating luggage handling and shipping.
• Maintain accurate logs of all guest activities booked or reservations made.
• Comply with all policies and procedures of the Sonnenalp Resort of Vail.
• Complete tasks and projects delegated by the One Willow Bridge Road Management.
• Assist Club Members in scheduling Space Available vacations and any other Planned Vacation week.
• Any other task either in written or verbally defined by the OWBR Management.
