About The Position

We are seeking a dedicated, compassionate, and detail-oriented Concierge Medical Assistant to join our medical team. In this role, you will provide personalized, patient-centered support while assisting physicians with clinical care and ensuring an exceptional experience for each patient. Responsibilities include patient triage and assessments, preparing patients for physician examinations, assisting with diagnostic procedures, coordinating follow-up care, and maintaining accurate clinical records. The ideal candidate is professional, empathetic, knowledgeable about HMO insurance carriers, and thrives in a fast-paced medical office environment. Medical Specialists of the Palm Beaches, Inc. (“MSPB”) is a FAST GROWING primary care-focused, multi-specialty physician group practice serving Palm Beach and Broward counties. MSPB has 100 providers, more than 30 offices and offers primary care, cardiology, neurology, hematology/oncology, concierge medicine and laboratory services.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 1–2 years of experience in a medical office setting preferred.
  • Completion of a medical assisting program or certification from an accredited trade school strongly preferred.
  • A warm, caring personality and positive attitude are essential, as this role requires frequent interaction with patients, families, and cross-functional teams.
  • Proficiency in typing and computer use with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to multitask, adapt, and thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with Athena EMR, CPT, and ICD-10 coding is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Perform patient triage and assessments, including taking and recording vital signs.
  • Assist physicians with clinical office procedures and diagnostic/therapeutic interventions.
  • Provide patient education, instructions, and follow-up care as directed.
  • Administer medications as prescribed and maintain accurate medication logs.
  • Coordinate scheduling and pre-certification for imaging/tests (e.g., CT, MRI, PET scans).
  • Maintain and update patient charts, records, and physician dictations.
  • Manage patient calls, messages, and follow-up communication in a timely manner.
  • Ensure exam rooms and work areas remain clean, safe, and well-stocked.
  • Support lab and X-ray procedures (if certified).
  • Monitor and order medical supplies as needed.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the physician or practice manager.
