Requirements

  • Previous experience working with the elderly preferred
  • Supervisory experience is required
  • Computer proficiency (Word, Excel, Outlook) is required
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, and time management skills
  • Ability to read, write and speak English
  • Ability to Pass a Department of Social and Health Services background check (some negative actions can be acceptable)

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the concierge desk, including staffing, scheduling, and training new staff, and collaborating with security teams to promote a positive environment for residents
  • Provide every resident, guest, and employee with a superior customer experience, regularly coaching concierge staff to ensure a consistent level of service is maintained
  • Respond to residents’ inquiries in a friendly and professional manner, both in person and over the phone, working closely with other departments to ensure a seamless experience
  • Coordinate reservations and orders on behalf of residents for all Chateau amenities, including the restaurants, fitness facilities, daily community activities, transportation services, and more
  • Receive and safely maintain package deliveries, distributing parcels and mail as needed
  • Provide accounting and administrative support to the Life Enrichment department as needed, including but not limited to bookkeeping, records keeping, and procuring supplies
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date resident files including medical notes, emergency face sheets, immunization records, and parking and pet information
  • Other duties as assigned
