About The Position

The Concierge/Gatehouse Security Officer is responsible for providing security services at assigned locations, focusing on observing and reporting activities. This part-time role involves conducting various patrols, monitoring for suspicious activities, and responding to emergencies, ensuring the safety and security of the premises.

Requirements

• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid registration/permit/license required by the state of employment.
• Successful completion of a background investigation and drug/alcohol test as required.
• Current state driver's license and clean driving record may be required.
• Ability to write effective, concise, and legible reports.
• Demonstrated customer service orientation and ability to de-escalate situations.
• Energetic and focused personality with the ability to prioritize multiple assignments.
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in security or customer service roles.
• Ability to operate a motor vehicle, golf cart, or bicycle.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and report all activity at assigned locations.
• Conduct foot, vehicular, golf cart, and bicycle patrols of applicable areas.
• Report suspicious activities and persons.
• Write detailed narrative reports and maintain daily activity reports (DAR's).
• Enforce post orders, site rules, regulations, and policies.
• Respond to emergency situations requiring security assistance.
• Identify and report security threats and unsafe conditions.
• Provide customer service and support as needed.
• Participate in required orientation and training programs.
