About The Position

The Concierge Front Desk position at Fountaingate Gardens involves providing high-level concierge services to residents and guests in a vibrant independent living community for active adults. The concierge will work evening shifts and rotating weekends, ensuring that all individuals entering the community are greeted warmly and that their needs are met promptly and efficiently.

Requirements

  • High School graduate or equivalent; college coursework preferred.
  • Ability to understand and follow instructions and communicate effectively with a diverse population.
  • Experience in a business, hospitality, or senior living work environment preferred.
  • Great attention to detail and customer service skills are essential.
  • Must possess a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

  • Greet all individuals entering the community in a professional and warm manner.
  • Answer telephone calls cheerfully and provide innovative problem-solving for requests.
  • Maintain the status of individuals entering the community to reinforce security efforts.
  • Communicate information to guests, vendors, and team members while handling sensitive information discreetly.
  • Provide guests with beverage and coat services upon entry.
  • Direct traffic to the appropriate place or team member in the community.
  • Receive marketing calls and walk-ins, collecting pertinent information for the sales staff.
  • Assist all departments with projects, setup, organizing, or clerical needs.
  • Self-initiate tasks while collaborating with other parties when needed.
  • Maintain the lobby, entrance, and concierge areas in a clean and organized manner.
  • Provide resident relations support, including scheduling transportation and reminder calls.
  • Work efficiently in all aspects of job duties, prioritizing assigned work.
  • Communicate vital information accurately and promptly to the appropriate party.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Community Experience Director or Executive Director.
