What you will be doing: Control access to the building, ensuring only authorized personnel can enter. This includes checking credentials and monitoring entry systems. Provide exceptional customer service, greeting and welcoming occupants and guests warmly and efficiently. Work with the property management team to respond to alarms, disturbances, or security threats, and ensure safety of all individuals on the premises. Involved in administrative tasks as requested from the property management team that can include record-keeping of all guests and vendors, access cards, physical keys, security personnel. Ensure all security desks and entrances are tidy and presentable. May be responsible for assisting with coordination of events, gatherings, and meetings, ensuring conference rooms are setup appropriately and that access to events runs smoothly. Provide basic and accurate information in-person and via phone/email Receive, sort and distribute daily mail/deliveries Assist tenants with entrance and exit into building as needed assisting with bringing in deliveries, groceries, and other items. Other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • High school degree or general education degree required
  • Knowledge of computer software and hardware (i.e. Microsoft Office Suite Products).
  • Proven work experience as a Concierge, Security Guard, Receptionist, Front Office Representative or similar role
  • Professional attitude and appearance
  • Solid written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to be resourceful and proactive when issues arise
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Multitasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks
  • Customer service attitude
  • Ability to comprehend and interpret instructions, short correspondence, and memos and ask clarifying questions to ensure understanding.
  • Ability to write correspondence.
  • Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from clients, co ‐ workers, and/or supervisor.
  • Ability to work well under pressure.
