About the position

The primary function of this position is to meet and greet members with a smile and helpful can-do attitude. As the first representative members meet each day, the ability to provide top of the line customer service is essential to the success of the employee. A constant positive attitude and ability to be a strong team player working closely with both the dock staff and sales team is required.

Responsibilities

  • Welcome members with a smile and introduce yourself.
  • Answer any question they might have about where to go on the water that day.
  • Check that ID matches the name on the reservation.
  • Field all phone calls coming in to the club.
  • Create reservations for same day requests.
  • Send confirmation text messages for the following day.
  • Collect prospect information and enter their information into the sales optima portal.
  • Give daily dock tours on request (from sales).
  • Work with sales team to execute personal tours and open houses (2x per month).
  • Communicate constantly with the dock staff about arrivals.
  • Follow up with sales team daily with updates on prospects.

Requirements

  • Maintain a professional appearance in accordance with company policy.
  • NASBLA boating safety course.
  • Able to work on your feet and work in all weather conditions.
  • Be team-oriented, self-motivated, and process driven.
  • Must be able to lift 30lbs.
  • Be completely trustworthy and ability to work alone.
  • Knowledge of small boat operations preferred but not required.
  • Have a strong attention to details.
