About The Position

Responsible for preparing and selling food and beverage products in assigned concession stand area. Greets customers, fills orders, and processes sales and money transactions.

Requirements

• Knowledge of sales at a level normally acquired through completion of a high school education.
• Approximately three to six months of previous food and beverage experience in order to gain an understanding of food preparation, sales, and customer service.
• Analytical skills needed in order to process cash.
• Interpersonal skills required in order to maintain positive customer relations with clients when gathering and exchanging information.
• Knowledge of good housekeeping practices in areas where food is stored, prepared, served or dispensed.
• Must be proficient in operating and maintaining a variety of kitchen equipment such as ovens, fryers, grills, etc.
• Ability to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays as dictated by event schedule.
• Requires standing for extended periods of time.
• Requires eyesight correctable to 20/20 to read numbers.
• Requires hearing within normal range in order to communicate with staff and customers.
• Occasional high stress work when dealing with customers and peak service volumes.
• Requires working in a fast-paced environment with irregular hours, as dictated by schedule of events.
• Must be able to add, subtract, multiply and divide whole numbers.
• Ability to give, receive, and analyze information and process complex orders.
• Must understand people and be able to communicate effectively with them.
• Requires continuous public contact and excellent interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates and embodies the PMI Entertainment Group Culture and Customer Service values.
• Responsible for preparing and selling food and beverages for various events in the Resch Center/Brown County Veteran’s Memorial Complex. Maintains a quality and consistent presentation of food products as directed by the Food & Beverage department staff.
• Handles product sales transactions in the assigned concessions stand. Completes payment transactions in accordance with proper procedures.
• Provides superior customer service.
• Maintains a clean and presentable work area.
• Creates a positive work environment.
