Concessions Worker
About The Position
Wasatch County Parks and Recreation seeks part time Concessions Cook. This position will work as scheduled during events at food locations for Parks and Recreation facilities and events throughout the year. This position is primarily for cooking, but may also include taking and assembling customer orders correctly, accepting payment from customers via a cash register, checking food items to ensure quality and safety standards are met, keeping the assigned area clean, sanitary and safe, performing basic maintenance on machines and equipment as needed, answering questions about concession stand location, prices of goods being sold and other questions about tickets or other items sold. Under the guidance of a supervisor, the position will maintain concession stand records with information on products used and food served to customers, complete daily inventory sheets noting supplies that need to be replenished, and enter data into a computerized cash register system. The role may also be responsible for balancing register tills at the end of the day. Employment with the county is contingent upon successful completion of the pre-employment drug screening.
