About The Position

The Charlotte Regional Visitors Authority aims to leverage its hospitality marketing and management expertise to enhance the Charlotte Region's economy, creating opportunities and jobs for the community. The position is focused on providing guests at the Charlotte Convention Center with a quality experience while ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations regarding safety, health, and the sale of food and beverages.

Requirements

• Ability to operate kitchen equipment.
• Excellent written and verbal skills.
• Ability to communicate information effectively to managers, customers, and the general public.
• Problem solving skills.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Previous experience in a quick serve operation preferred.
• Ability to anticipate customer needs and build positive relationships with customers and vendors.
• Treat all customers and vendors with the highest degree of respect and courtesy.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in a customer service environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality customer service.
• Articulate event and other information to clients and customers.
• Prepare and serve adequate amounts of food as directed.
• Establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with those contacted in the course of work.
• Maintain cooperative working relationship with all Convention Center departments.
• Always meet workplace sanitation and safety guidelines.
• Maintain professional attire, image, and demeanor at all times.
• Comply with all CRVA and Convention Center policies and procedures.
• Perform other duties as requested.
• Work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Consistently deliver the best in customer service and model the CRVA Service Philosophy to deliver memorable customer experiences.
