About The Position

The Concessions Supervisor manages the daily operations of the Frost Bites food truck at Ice Castles Silverthone, CO, ensuring smooth, efficient, and safe service for all guests. This individual leads a small team of concessions staff, oversees food prep, ensures cleanliness and compliance, and maintains high standards of quality and hospitality.
This is a full-time seasonal position running from early December through the end of the Ice Castles season.

Requirements

• Must have or be willing to obtain required food handling and concession licenses/certifications for the State of Colorado.
• Ice Castles will cover costs for training and certification renewals as needed.
• Prior experience in food service or concessions supervision preferred.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and time management skills.
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Able to stand for long periods and lift/move up to 25 pounds regularly.
• Must be available evenings, weekends, and holidays during the Ice Castles season.
• Strong focus on guest satisfaction, safety, and operational excellence.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the Frost Bites food truck, ensuring a consistent, positive guest experience.
• Supervise and schedule a small team of concessions workers, promoting teamwork and efficiency.
• Ensure proper food preparation, storage, and service in compliance with state and company standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation in all concession areas and equipment.
• Manage inventory, assist with supply ordering, and ensure accurate cash handling and POS transactions.
• Ensure all food safety protocols and health codes are met; maintain required certifications.
• Communicate regularly with Event Managers and other Supervisors to coordinate guest flow and site operations.
• Support hiring and training of new concessions team members.
• Lead with enthusiasm and professionalism, setting the tone for guest interactions and team performance.
