THE ROLE Staten Island FerryHawks – SIUH Stadium is seeking a reliable, customer-focused Concessions Supervisor to join the team at one of Staten Island’s premier sports and entertainment venues, located along the scenic waterfront. This role plays a key part in delivering a positive and efficient fan experience in a fast-paced, high-energy environment. The Concessions Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily operations at concession stands and retail points throughout the stadium, ensuring exceptional guest service, efficient workflows, and adherence to company standards. This position requires strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and the ability to remain composed while managing teams during high-volume game days and events. Key responsibilities include supervising concession staff, monitoring transactions and cash handling procedures, maintaining inventory levels, and ensuring all service areas are clean, organized, and fully operational. The Concessions Supervisor will work closely with management to optimize service efficiency, resolve guest concerns, and uphold the highest standards of food safety and customer service. The ideal candidate is dependable, proactive, and thrives in a lively, team-oriented atmosphere, with a passion for leading teams and creating enjoyable experiences for fans and visitors.

Requirements

  • 1 year minimum in similar leadership position
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to handle cash and operate POS systems accurately
  • Knowledge of food and beverage handling and safety practices
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
  • Dependability, teamwork, and a positive attitude
  • Familiarity with scheduling software.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and support concession staff during events to ensure efficient operations and excellent customer service.
  • Monitor cash, credit, and mobile transactions for accuracy and compliance with cash handling procedures.
  • Assist with training, coaching, and motivating team members to maintain high performance standards.
  • Ensure all concession stands are properly staffed, stocked, and prepared before and during events.
  • Address and resolve guest concerns or service issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Oversee point-of-sale (POS) system operations and troubleshoot minor issues as needed.
  • Maintain accurate inventory levels and coordinate restocking of food, beverages, and supplies.
  • Ensure all food handling, sanitation, and safety standards are strictly followed.
  • Conduct opening and closing procedures, including cash reconciliation and reporting.
  • Promote a clean, organized, and safe work environment across all concession areas.
  • Collaborate with management and other departments to improve service efficiency and guest satisfaction.
  • Practice safe work habits and complete company and venue safety and general position compliance training.
  • Maintain a pleasant and collaborative attitude towards customers, co-workers, and management.
  • Adheres to the Legends Global and venue company policies.
  • Complete other duties assigned by management.
  • Available to work none-traditional hours (Nights, Weekends & Holidays)
