About The Position

The Concessions Supervisor is responsible for overseeing food and beverage service at various concessions stands, bars, and portable locations within the arena. This role requires a personable individual who can thrive in a fast-paced environment, assisting the Concessions Manager and leadership team with training, inventory management, and special events. The position emphasizes maintaining excellent attendance and being available for scheduled events.

Requirements

• 1-2 years of experience in a supervisory role in a food & beverage environment.
• Ability to supervise and communicate effectively with staff and guests.
• Ability to work in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment.
• Possess a valid food handling certificate or alcohol service permit if required.
• Ability to handle cash accurately and perform basic math functions.

Responsibilities

• Ensure proper set-up of all concessions locations prior to doors opening.
• Verify opening inventory and assign duties to concession workers.
• Ensure sanitation standards are met and locations are fully operational.
• Provide oversight for smooth and profitable event execution.
• Train new and current employees on property procedures and best practices.
• Cover any open positions to ensure operational efficiency and guest satisfaction.
• Ensure a safe work environment free from harassment or discrimination.
• Provide ongoing assistance, training, and mentoring to event staff and volunteers.
• Supervise the service of beverages, including checking IDs for alcohol purchases.
• Record guest orders and relay them to the kitchen via the P.O.S. system.
• Compute meal costs, present checks, and accept payments accurately.
• Maintain sanitation, health, and safety standards in work areas.
• Recognize and take action regarding visibly intoxicated guests.
• Enforce company policies and procedures regarding employee relations and corrective actions.
