About The Position

The Concessions Stand Attendant is responsible for greeting and welcoming customers, processing cash and digital gift card transactions using a point-of-sale system, and organizing/stocking while maintaining a clean environment in the Wave Café.

Requirements

• Some experience with cash handling and customer service desired.
• Ability to display friendly, helpful service to all Club members and guests.
• Ability to communicate and exchange accurate information to customers.
• Ability to work a regular, consistent schedule.
• Valid Washington State Food Worker Card.
• American Red Cross First Aid and CPR for the Professional Rescuer certified (or within 30 days of employment).

Responsibilities

• Provide a high level of customer service to and effectively communicate with Club members and guests.
• Always follow food safety regulations and proper sanitation guidelines (take food temperatures, track expiration dates, clean and sanitize work area, etc).
• Accurately inform customers of prices and information to sell food and beverage items.
• Process cash and digital gift card payments, along with ensuring that all received cash is well-accounted for and stored in a safe environment.
• Reconcile cash drawers and sales reports.
• Restock the cabinets and counter displays in an organized manner.
• Count inventory of supplies and food items and communicate shortages of supplies to supervisors.
• Other duties as needed or assigned.
