The Concessions (Snack Bar) Manager at the aquatic center is a seasonal position responsible for the day-to-day management of snack bar operations, including personnel, equipment, inventory management and financial reporting. Example of Duties Works with managers and Township to develop a menu and pricing. Coordinates with managers to identify equipment needs and inventory needs. Assists in hiring, training and scheduling snack bar staff. Responsible for the operation of the snack bar consistent with Board of Health standards Oversees snack bar staff in the areas of; preparation and handling, personal hygiene and uniform requirement, cleaning and sanitation procedures, order processing, sales transactions, opening and closing procedures and customer service. Ensures high standards are maintained Provides regular training to staff as needed. Performs regular safety inspections of equipment to reduce hazards and to provide maximum safety. Responsible for proper cleaning of all food service equipment and work areas inside the snack bar according to Board of Health standards Works with Facilities Manager to jointly maintain the outdoor snack bar area including trash pick-up/removal and hosing down tables, chairs and deck. Surveys patrons and evaluates menu to determine public needs and how to increase efficiency and effectiveness. Receives patron complaints and suggestions and responds appropriately. Performs related duties as required. Consistently collaborate with other supervisory staff to resolve issues which may arise during a given shift and to ensure the efficient and effective operation of the HAC.
