About The Position

Looking for a fun job where you can build real-world skills, work with a great team, and serve your community? Join the Crystal Lake Park District as a Concession Server and be part of the action! (Seasonal | Approx. 16–30 hours/week) What You’ll Do As a Concession Server, you’ll help create a positive experience for our guests by: Preparing and serving food in a safe, clean, and efficient manner. Providing friendly, professional customer service. Handling cash accurately and completing deposits and paperwork. Opening and closing your assigned area following established procedures. Keeping work areas clean and compliant with health codes. Watching for and reporting safety concerns. Working cooperatively with coworkers from Aquatics, Athletics, and other departments. Maintaining a neat appearance and wearing the assigned uniform. Rotating stock using FIFO (first in, first out). Completing shift logs and following timekeeping policies. Assisting with other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Are 16 years of age or older.
• Are dependable and able to multitask.
• Can accurately count money and make change.
• Are comfortable completing basic paperwork.
• Enjoy working with the public.
• Can obtain Food Service Certification within two weeks of hire.
• Take pride in being professional, responsible, and safety-minded.
