About The Position

The Concessions Manager is responsible for overseeing all food and beverage operations at the Hippodrome Theatre, ensuring a seamless, high-quality guest experience while meeting financial and operational goals. This role leads all aspects of concessions, bar service, and event-related hospitality, focusing on staff management, inventory control, guest satisfaction, and compliance with Spectrum Catering and Concessions standards. This role pays an annual salary of $60,000-$70,000 and is bonus eligible Benefits for Full-Time roles: Health, Dental and Vision Insurance, 401(k) Savings Plan, 401(k) matching, and Paid Time Off (vacation days, sick days, and 11 holidays) This position will remain open until December 31, 2025.

Requirements

  • 3-5+ years of progressive experience in concessions, hospitality, or large-scale food & beverage operations.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and develop staff.
  • Proven experience in budgeting, financial reporting, and cost control.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
  • ServSafe and TABC (or equivalent alcohol certification) required.
  • Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as dictated by event schedules.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily concessions and bar operations, ensuring efficiency, cleanliness, and compliance with health and safety standards.
  • Lead, train, and motivate a team of supervisors, bartenders, and concession staff to deliver exceptional service.
  • Work closely with event managers and venue partners to plan and execute successful events.
  • Ensure consistency in product quality, portion control, and presentation.
  • Develop and manage budgets, sales goals, and cost controls.
  • Oversee cash handling procedures, point-of-sale operations, and accurate financial reporting.
  • Monitor inventory levels, conduct regular counts, and manage purchasing to minimize waste and loss.
  • Analyze sales reports to identify trends and opportunities for growth.
  • Maintain Spectrum's high standards of customer service and hospitality.
  • Handle guest feedback professionally and efficiently, ensuring prompt resolution of issues.
  • Support venue partnerships and community engagement initiatives that enhance the guest experience.
  • Ensure all operations comply with local and state food safety and alcohol regulations.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records related to licensing, training, and compliance.
  • Foster a safe work environment and adhere to company safety protocols.
