About The Position

Sodexo is seeking a Concessions Manager at US Naval Academy in Annapolis, MD to run concessions for all major athletic events. Its a fast paced environment with about 100 events per year.

Requirements

• Previous supervision of food preparation and service in a concessions environment
• Customer service skills
• Proven contribution to account revenue and operating profit
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation

Responsibilities

• Utilizes Sodexo resources, systems and programs to direct daily operations including; food production, stand inventory, product deliveries, invoices, and procurement operations.
• Directs daily operations in a concessions account/unit to ensure employees, NPO (non-profit organizations) groups and 3rd party vendors (if applicable) have appropriate equipment, supplies and resources to perform their job, and meet goals, cost controls and deadlines as assigned.
• Ensures that concessions area, equipment and storage facilities are sanitary, neat and organized.
• Drives a Zero Harm mindset by maintaining a safe work environment including both food and physical safety in order to comply with all regulatory and Sodexo standards.
• Complies with budget requirements by controlling costs (i.e. labor, inventory, equipment, materials) and making adjustments when necessary.
• Supervises employees, NPO groups and 3rd party vendors by delegating, assigning and prioritizing activities, and monitoring operating standards to ensure that employees demonstrate an active customer hospitality orientation toward customers and clients.
