About The Position

The Concessions Management Intern at Delaware North Sportservice will assist the management team at Allianz Field during the 2025 MNUFC soccer season. This role involves training and scheduling team members and volunteers, managing stand operations on event days, and gaining valuable experience in the hospitality industry.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Enrollment at an accredited college or university pursuing a sports management, hospitality, or human resources degree is preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Products including Word and Excel.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Assist the management team with training and scheduling activities for team members and non-profit volunteers.
• Help the Concessions team with stand operations on event days, including inventory management and supervising.
• Perform end-of-event tasks, including closing stands and preparing retail transaction reports.
• Independently run operations at the National Sports Center for the minor league team (MNUFC 2).
• Assist in data entry of invoices and supervision of the warehouse team.
• Verify NPO compliance with federal, state, and local regulations regarding alcohol and sanitation.
• Supervise NPO groups and assist with check-in and check-out for non-profit volunteers and team members on event days.
• Track and organize non-profit group contracts, training, and game day rosters.
• Prepare NPO donation spreadsheets post-event.
• Assist in pre-game and post-game day uniform preparation and laundering.
