About The Position

Kalahari Resorts & Conventions is seeking a Cook for our Concessions Team. In this role, you will cook and prepare a variety of food products including meats, seafood, poultry, vegetables, sauces, stocks, breads and other food products using a variety of equipment and utensils according to the Daily Prep List. Concession Cook also supports and assists the Concession Manager in concessions operations, completing all necessary preparation work to keep stock up to last the given time being served. Requirements

  • Must be able to work in a stationary position for long periods of time. (up to 8 hours).
  • Must be able to work and be flexible with all shifts, weekends, and holidays.
  • Must possess the ability to access all areas of the kitchen, the ability to move frequently & freely about facility.

Responsibilities

  • Make pizza dough, and sauces.
  • Prepares a variety of meats, seafood, poultry, vegetables and other food items for cooking in broilers, ovens, grills, fryers and a variety of other kitchen equipment
  • Refer to Daily Prep List at the start of each shift for assigned duties.
  • Uses Standard Recipe Cards for preparing all products and does not rely on the memory of themselves or other associates.
