About The Position

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Bar Back to join our dynamic Concessions team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for receiving all liquor, beer, and wine from the storeroom daily and as needed. Replenishes all liquor, beer, and wine as needed throughout the bar shift.  Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Minimum (1) year of Food and Beverage, Hotel/ Hospitality, Club or Full-Service Restaurant experience.
• Valid TABC or state-approved Alcohol/Liquor certification.
• Valid ServSafe or state-approved Food Handler's certification.
• Excellent customer service, organization, and time management.
• Ability to speak, read, and write in English.
• Ability to stand for long periods and with minimal supervision.
• Ability to lift (50lbs) or more.

Responsibilities

• Retrieves all needed food items from the kitchen and delivers to the bar area.
• Retrieves all needed beverage items and garnishes from the storerooms and delivers to the bar area.
• Sets up bottles on bar with 'top shelf' liquor on back shelf.
• Ensures beer taps are working properly.
• Places appropriate bar snacks on the counter; keeps supplies, such as snacks and napkins, stocked throughout the shift.
• Assists in opening and closing side work as assigned.
• Buses tables in the bar area.
• Helps ensure the cleanliness and tidiness of the bar or lounge areas; washes work tables, walls, refrigerators, and floors under equipment; sweeps and mops service areas, including floor mats.
• Ensures rubbish is removed from all receptacles.
• Prepares and serves beverages as needed to assist the bartender.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
