Concessions Attendant IceLand (Part-Time)
About The Position
Concessions workers are responsible for a variety of tasks related to the preparation and sale of food, beverages, and other items at IceLand Arena. Food and Beverage Preparation: Preparing and assembling food items such as popcorn, hot dogs, pretzels, and nachos, as well as pouring drinks and serving snacks. Customer Service: Interacting with customers, taking orders, processing payments, and providing information about the menu items or special promotions. Cash Handling: Operating cash registers, handling cash, credit card transactions, and sometimes handling large volumes of transactions quickly and accurately. Inventory Management: Monitoring stock levels, restocking supplies, and ensuring that food and beverage items are available throughout the event. Maintaining Cleanliness: Keeping the work area clean and sanitary, following food safety guidelines, and ensuring that all equipment and utensils are properly sanitized. Teamwork: Working with other concessions staff to ensure that operations run smoothly, particularly during busy times.
Requirements
- Must be at least 16 years old
- Must be available to work evenings and Saturday and Sunday shifts
- Must be able to read and write English
- Must have good math skills for handing cash transactions
- Candidates will be trained and do not need experience in food handling.
