Position Summary The Concessions Worker prepares and serves concession items to guests. Prepares and pours beverages and serves them to guests. Ensures quality of food presentation. Utilizes a cash register and accepts payment. Must be able to maintain excellent attendance in accordance with the attendance policy. This role will pay an hourly wage of $15.00.   • Courteously greets and assists all guests
  • Takes food orders and serves guests
  • Prepares and builds food items according to standardized recipes and directions
  • Properly stores food by applying food safety policies and procedures
  • Sets up workstations including prep tables, service counters, hot wells, steam tables, etc.
  • Breaks down, cleans, and sanitizes workstations.
  • Serves food to guests while ensuring guest satisfaction and anticipating the guests needs.
  • Replenishes food items and ensures product is stocked to appropriate levels
  • Maintains excellent service, positive demeanor, friendly, efficient, and positive service towards guests, clients, co-workers, etc.
  • Adheres to OVG safety policies and procedures including proper food safety and sanitation
  • Ensures security of company assets
  • Responsible for running a cash register and collecting payment for sale from guests
  • Maintains and implements the OVG alcohol policy
  • Other duties and tasks as assigned by manager
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Must be 18 or over
  • Three or more months' experience in food service industry preferred
  • Previous cash handling experience preferred.
  • Ability to learn to handle cash and learn to operate a cash register and corresponding system
  • Excellent interpersonal skills & a friendly, positive attitude with co-workers, managers, volunteers & guests
  • Able to work weekends, evenings, and special events as needed.
  • Possess Excellent customer service skills.
  • Be energetic, with a positive attitude, and keep a smiling face.
