About The Position

The Concession Worker position is Seasonal Typically beginning March through Mid-April with hiring and training beginning as early as February. The Concession Worker assists with the daily operations of the concession stand. They help to maintain order and enforce rules at the concession stand, while providing quick and excellent customer service. Concession Workers prepare, sell, and serve concession items as well as help with stocking, rotating, and tracking inventory. Concession Workers help maintain safety and cleanliness throughout the park. You must be able to work staggered shifts, to include evenings, weekends, and holidays, BUT we can be flexible with scheduling!

Requirements

15 years of age (with a worker's permit) or older
Certified as a ServSafe Food Handler or can gain certification by start date
Familiarity with money handling, group rentals, recreation software, and customer service
Ability to adapt quickly
Individuals who are team-oriented with a positive, can-do attitude
Ability to use various computer programs including Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and other software programs
Accurately count money and run reports
Ability to walk, run, stand, sit and complete a variety of motor skills
Ability to walk and/or stand on concrete for the majority of your shift
Ability to bend to the floor and reach overhead
Ability to lift and carry 30-70 pounds regularly to chest height
Ability to hear and see well
Ability to demonstrate exceptional punctuality and attendance
Ability to project a positive attitude, manner, and appearance
Ability to think clearly and respond appropriately in an emergency
Ability to demonstrate mature judgment and ethical behavior
Ability to read, write and perform mathematical equations
Ability to work with limited supervision
Ability to multitask
Ability to use knowledge; critical thinking skills; judgment and problem-solving skills to handle situations
Ability to resolve conflict fairly, safely, and in a timely manner
Ability to work staggered shift assignments as necessary including evenings, weekends, and holidays

Ability to work in a loud, fast-paced environment

Nice To Haves

Familiarity with the supervision and operation of ovens, food warmers, and food and drink preparation
Individuals who are team-oriented with positive, can-do attitudes.
Bilingual in Spanish is a plus
