About The Position

The Concession Stand Worker is responsible for providing excellent customer service while preparing and serving a variety of menu items at events. This role involves selling items, collecting payments, and ensuring customer satisfaction in a fast-paced environment. The position requires interaction with customers and co-workers to maintain service standards and compliance with health regulations.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Ability to interact with co-workers to ensure compliance with service standards.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, team-oriented setting.
• Fluency in English is required.
• Ability to work in an open-air environment during all climate conditions.
• Ability to lift and carry items weighing 10-30 pounds, occasionally up to 50 pounds, up and down stairs/ramps.
• Ability to work all stadium events, including extended hours, nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Sufficient mobility to perform assigned production tasks including constant reaching, bending, stooping, wiping, pushing, and pulling for extended periods of time.
• Must meet state and local health requirements for food handlers and alcoholic beverage services.

Responsibilities

• Prepares simple menu items.
• Sells items, collects payment and makes correct change.
• Interacts with customers to assure customer satisfaction.
• Carefully enters all sales into cash register to ensure accurate recording of purchases.
• Cleans up, stores product, and removes trash to dumpster.
• Serves patrons' food and beverage orders quickly and courteously.
• Verifies I.D. on all customers ordering alcohol.
• Suggestively sells and upsells items.
• Maintains a clean, neat, and safe work area.
• Interacts with co-workers to ensure compliance with service standards and cash control procedures.
• Performs arithmetic operations involving U.S. monetary units.
