About The Position

The Concession Cook will skillfully prepare a variety of hot or cold menu items in accordance with Menus and Chef instructions. The cook may be assigned duties in concession stands, with placement based on related experience and skill level.

Requirements

  • One to five years food service/culinary experience
  • Experience in stadium, casual, fine dining, hotel, banquet, private club, fast food/short order cooking or catering

Responsibilities

  • Work under the direction of Chef or Supervisor
  • Daily set up, maintenance, and breakdown of work area/station
  • Become familiar with work area, kitchen equipment, and utensils applicable to position
  • Display ability to follow job specific instruction with attention to detail
  • Skillful and consistent preparation, portion control and presentation of menu items
  • Maintain professional disposition and work as a member of a cohesive team
  • Display ability to work with a sense of urgency in a fast-paced environment
  • Keep work areas/stations clean and organized
  • Embrace Keeneland Hospitality culture that strives to exceed guest expectations
  • Adhere to Keeneland Hospitality Uniform and Grooming Standards
  • Ensure Health Code, sanitation and food safety standards are maintained
