About The Position

ASM Global, the leader in privately managed public assembly facilities, has an immediate opening for Concessions Cook at Century II Performing Arts and Convention Center. The position involves preparing a variety of high-quality products, operating and cleaning fryers, grills, and general kitchen equipment. It requires good customer service skills and a positive attitude.

Requirements

• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to follow directions and effectively perform the work.
• Organized.
• Positive attitude and neat appearance.
• Must speak and understand English.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and a good attitude required.
• Must be able to work independently with little or no supervision.

Responsibilities

• Clean food preparation areas, cooking surfaces and utensils.
• Cook and package batches of food.
• Deliver high quality products.
• Keep food spoilage below minimum.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness, each stand must be cleaned after each event.
• Operate large-volume cooking equipment such as deep-fat fryers.
• Maintain sanitation, health, and safety standards in work areas.
• Follow rules and regulations of Food and Beverage.
• Clean, stock and inventory workstation, checking inventory in and out, and being accountable for all inventories.
• Regular attendance is an essential job function.
• Position requires the ability to work at all ASM Global venues in Wichita and Andover.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Manager.
