About The Position
Hook'd On The Sound is seeking enthusiastic individuals for the Concession Cashier and Support positions located at 60 Compo Beach Road, Westport, CT. This role is essential in providing excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment, ensuring that customers have a positive experience while enjoying their time at the beach. The position offers both full-time and part-time opportunities, making it suitable for various schedules. Applicants must have reliable transportation to the Compo Beach area, as this is a crucial requirement for the role. As a Concession Cashier, you will be responsible for greeting customers, informing them about menu items, accepting orders and payments, and serving food and beverages. You will also be tasked with packaging items for sale, cleaning and restocking work areas, and taking inventory to ensure that display cases and counters are well-stocked. This position requires a positive attitude and the ability to work efficiently in a team-oriented environment. The ideal candidate will possess excellent verbal, written, and listening communication skills, along with a positive, enthusiastic, and energetic demeanor. Attention to detail and the ability to work with a high degree of accuracy are essential. Self-direction and the capability to complete tasks with limited supervision are also important traits for success in this role.
