The mission of the college is to serve as a national model for transforming the health of rural underserved regions through excellence and innovation in nursing education, leadership, research, scholarship, and practice. This position reports to the ANPE Department Chair and is responsible for various duties including assisting with recruitment and retention of DNP faculty, overseeing the unit program's graduate curriculum, administering the admission of applicants to the program, and serving as a liaison between the department, college, graduate school, and other agencies. The role also involves scheduling and overseeing advising, conducting graduate faculty meetings, maintaining files for each graduate student, and coordinating the publication of graduate scholarships.
