About The Position
The position involves performing high-quality Diagnostic CT procedures while applying principles of radiation protection to minimize patient exposure. The role requires the identification and administration of correct contrast media according to departmental protocols, maintaining aseptic techniques, and ensuring the accurate preparation of sterile contrast media and other solutions. The candidate must also maintain knowledge of universal precautions and other safety measures as mandated by the University of Michigan Health System. Additionally, the position requires responding to patients' changing physical conditions, including airway/breathing changes, heart rate fluctuations, and acute changes in consciousness.
