About The Position

The Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) Specialist at Spark Therapeutics is responsible for managing and maintaining asset and maintenance materials master data using the company's CMMS, SAP. This role involves onboarding new assets, scheduling maintenance plans, and ensuring data integrity while collaborating with facilities and operations management. The specialist will act as a subject matter expert (SME) for CMMS, optimizing its use within maintenance and facilities operations.

Requirements

• 5 to 10 years' experience operating a CMMS (SAP Preferred) in a pharmaceutical manufacturing maintenance environment.
• High School Diploma required; SAP Certifications are a plus.
• Experience in a regulated industry preferred, especially GxP Maintenance system audit.
• Proficient with technical documentation including Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Work Instructions (WIs).

• Knowledge or willingness to learn building, mechanical, and industrial principles.
• Good interpersonal and strong written/verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain Asset and Maintenance Materials master data using CMMS, SAP.
• Onboard new assets and schedule maintenance plans in harmony with operating and shutdown schedules.
• Collaborate with facilities and operations management to optimize maintenance schedules.
• Own the CMMS change process for asset criticality, preventative maintenance procedure changes, and spare parts changes.
• Enter spare parts in the material master, construct BOMs, and assign stocking levels in collaboration with stakeholders.
• Ensure data integrity and provide periodic reporting to track KPIs.
• Assist with annual spare parts inventory and participate in end-of-year counting.
• Support system owners and teams with special projects related to CMMS.
