The Health and Services Sector at Leidos currently has an opening for a Computer Vision/Machine Learning Intern to work in our Warfighter Performance program supporting the Operational Readiness Directorate at the Naval Health Research Center. In this role, you will use your expertise to support the Physical and Cognitive Operational Research team’s neuroscience efforts to Warfighter readiness and performance through computer vision and machine learning. Primary Responsibilities: Tackle complex problems in Computer Vision for projects related to neuroscience and warfighter performance under the direction of the senior investigator. Proficiency in programming languages such as Python and MATLAB, knowledge of deep learning frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, and OpenCV, and expertise in image processing techniques like filtering, edge detection, and segmentation. Conduct high-quality data labeling for effective CV model training. Integrate vision models into real-world applications with scalable solutions. Use professional problem-solving abilities, communication skills, and critical thinking to tackle real-world challenges and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams.
