Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer or Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field and 4+ years of Software Engineering, Hardware Engineering, Systems Engineering, or related work experience.
  • OR
  • Master's degree in Computer or Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field and 3+ years of Software Engineering, Hardware Engineering, Systems Engineering, or related work experience.
  • OR
  • PhD in Computer or Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field and 2+ years of Software Engineering, Hardware Engineering, Systems Engineering, or related work experience.

Nice To Haves

  • Master's degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
  • 4+ years of experience in Computer Vision hardware and/or system design
  • 4+ years in hardware system design, integration, schematic capture, and circuit simulation tools
  • 4+ years programming experience (C, C++, Python), computer architecture, or embedded systems
  • 3+ years experience in a large, matrixed organization
  • 1+ year experience interacting with senior leadership (Director level and above)
  • 1+ year in a technical leadership role (with or without direct reports)

Responsibilities

  • Apply advanced Computer Vision engineering expertise to research and develop critical CV hardware
  • Design, implement, and verify complex CV systems, including hardware and firmware features
  • Perform architecture studies, algorithm analysis, and feature decomposition to define hardware requirements
  • Ensure KPIs for performance, area, and power are met
  • Lead triage of complex issues, identify root causes, and drive resolutions
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and customers to define new architectures or enhance existing designs for mobile, automotive, IoT, and other markets
  • Lead CV system design and develop advanced features aligned with product roadmaps
  • Create detailed technical documentation and feature descriptions for complex projects
