About The Position

The CT technologist will be responsible for providing quality diagnostic imaging for medical interpretation. Duties will include: operating CT equipment, handling patients, venipuncture, post-processing of images, patient transport, working with electronic medical records, and communication with physicians and other services. This position also includes call and holidays.

Requirements

High School Diploma or GED PLUS Graduate of an approved Radiology program
New graduate or less than One (1) year of CT experience
Registry eligible or Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist. An Arkansas Radiologic Technologist License must be obtained prior to start date.
CT Advanced Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist must be obtained within 12 months from date of hire
Ability to Follow Oral Instruction, Read and Write

Responsibilities

Operation of CT imaging equipment and post-processing of data
Handling patients
Venipuncture
Use of EPIC
Call and holiday coverage
Communicate with patients, physicians, clinics, and other services in the hospital in an effective, professional, and courteous manner.
Responsible for maintaining their professional license(s), National Registry, and all annual competencies.
