About The Position

The position involves performing a variety of technical procedures that require independent judgment and ingenuity. The individual will make independent value judgments when supervision is not available and will assume responsibility for achieving quality work, setting up patient load, and maintaining schedules. The role includes individual responsibility for all CT procedures, performing assigned duties promptly and efficiently, and complying with instructions from the supervisor. Maintaining a good working relationship with co-workers, other University Health employees, patients, doctors, and guests is also essential.

Requirements

• Registry by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists is required.
• Licensed by the State of Texas (MRT) is required.
• Two years of CT experience is required.
• Must meet and maintain the clinical ladder requirements for this specialty.

Nice To Haves

• Advanced certification in CT is preferred.
• Documentation of participation in education preparing for advanced CT certification is required for those not advanced certified.
