About The Position

The Computer Technician will perform general technical support functions under the supervision of a Project Manager. This includes the physical installation, assembly, configuration, and maintenance of the personal computer network. The role involves installing, assembling, and configuring computers, monitors, network infrastructure, and peripherals such as printers and scanners. The technician will also be responsible for pulling cables and rewiring as required for new installations and office reconfiguration. Troubleshooting problems with computer systems, including hardware and software issues, email, network, and peripheral equipment problems, is a key responsibility. The technician will make repairs and corrections as needed and perform other duties of a similar nature or level.

Requirements

• A minimum of one year experience in the Information Technology field.
• In-depth knowledge of one specific area of technology or broad knowledge of multiple technologies.
• Technical proficiency in desktop computing.
• Aptitude for learning new technologies.
• Ability to respond quickly and resolve technology-related problems.
• Clear communication skills.
• Ability to establish credibility quickly and take initiative.
• Ability to define problems quickly and resolve issues within specified timeframes.
• Identify and implement improvement opportunities.
• Continuous pursuit of new learning that adds value to the team's knowledge base.
