About The Position

Link Solutions is seeking a Computer System Analyst III to join our team in Charleston, SC. U.S. Citizen Must have DoD Secret Clearance Remote, however, travel may be required (Travel to on-site locations in Antarctica is possible. Additionally, quarterly travel to customer site in Charleston, SC, four or more times a year.) The Computer Systems Analyst III will provide cyber services and solutions, technical support, and management support for NIWC Atlantic Polar Programs (NPP). The successful candidate will be instrumental in ensuring the operational integrity and security of our client's IT systems. Requirements

  • U.S. Citizen
  • Active DoD Secret Clearance
  • IAT Level II Certification equivalent or higher, such as CompTIA Security+ CE, CCNA Security Training, CySA+, GIAC Security Essentials Certification (GSEC), Security Certified Network Professional (SCNP), or System Security Certified Practitioner (SSCP).
  • High School diploma or GED.
  • Five (5+) years of Computerized System experience, including: Design, Development, Test and Evaluation, Network Protocols, LAN administration fundamentals, and UNIX and Windows-based operating systems.
  • Understand the use and proper execution of security tools and test methods (DISA SCAP, SRR).
  • Experience in cybersecurity and IT systems management.
  • Experience in design, development, testing, evaluation, network protocols, LAN administration fundamentals, and UNIX/Windows-based operating systems.
  • Experience implementing security measures and monitoring systems for potential threats.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • ACAS, eMASS, or equivalent certification.
  • Experience working in a Department of Defense (DoD) environment.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office products.
  • Experience creating and modifying documentation for technical processes and procedures.
  • A problem solver and troubleshooter who thrives in resolving complex problems.
  • Strong self-starter requiring minimal supervision.
  • Excellent communication skills (written and oral) and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

  • Understands RMF assessment and DoD Risk Management Framework (RMF) process to conduct Security Control Assessments in support of accreditation packages.
  • Analysis of Security Documentation, interview personnel, and perform technical test cases to ensure proper execution of the requirements/controls.
  • Use and proper execution of security tools and testing methods.
  • Perform risk analysis of testing results.
  • Review documentation as applicable to RMF security controls.
  • Provide an independent assessment, using NIST 800-37 RMF security controls and supporting documentation.
  • Ensure security controls are implemented correctly, operating as intended, and are producing the desired outcome.
  • Participates in special projects as required in support of Security Control Assessment events.
  • Perform Security Control Assessment activities, using NIST 800-53 control sets
  • Collaboration with SCA Team to complete Security Assessment Reports, define metrics, and briefings.
