This position supports Capital Construction & Development (C&D) in coordinating and resolving project issues involving communication systems. Working with wide latitude for initiative and professional judgment, the incumbent will plan, design, configure, and integrate applications supporting NYCT's communication infrastructure. Duties include reviewing and enhancing communication-based networks, ensuring system security, and maintaining internal controls to safeguard agency assets and data. The incumbent will participate in internal and external project meetings, conduct field surveys, support system integration and acceptance testing, and develop technical documentation and performance monitoring criteria. This position also serves as a liaison among vendors, maintenance divisions, and user departments to ensure coordinated implementation and long-term operability of communication systems.
