About The Position

We are seeking skilled Computer Security Systems Maintenance Technicians to support, maintain, and troubleshoot mission‑critical security, surveillance, and electronic systems for federal customers across the Mid‑Atlantic region. This role is ideal for technicians with strong field experience, a customer‑focused mindset, and the ability to work independently in dynamic environments.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required; Associate's degree in IT, Electronics, or related field preferred.
  • Strong working knowledge of:
  • Telecommunications systems
  • Circuit boards, processors, and electronic components
  • Computer hardware/software and digital video systems
  • Fiber optics and low‑voltage cabling
  • Tools, machines, and electronic repair fundamentals
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to explain technical concepts clearly.
  • Ability to work independently and manage shifting priorities.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to meet company driving requirements.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a government security clearance (U.S. citizenship required).
  • Ability to lift 60 lbs.
  • Comfortable working outdoors in varying temperatures.
  • Ability to walk, climb, crawl, stand, and stretch for extended periods.
  • Ability to work at heights up to 40 feet using bucket trucks, scissor lifts, and ladders.
  • Willingness to travel up to 75% to customer sites.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair computers, digital video systems, data networks, fiber optics, power supplies, and related cabling.
  • Install, configure, and update hardware and software across multiple platforms.
  • Use advanced diagnostic tools and electrical theory to identify and resolve complex issues.
  • Calibrate, adjust, and modify electronic equipment to meet performance specifications.
  • Maintain accurate maintenance logs, asset tracking, and service documentation.
  • Train customer personnel on system operation and maintenance procedures.
  • Support shipping/receiving of equipment and materials.
  • Perform additional duties as required to support mission needs.
