This full-time, onsite position supports the Atlantic Test Range (ATR) in Patuxent River, Maryland. ATR is the Navy’s East Coast open-air test range and provides real-time test and evaluation (T&E) services including data acquisition, instrumentation, data analysis, recording, test management, and airspace management to DoD and commercial customers in support of real-time aircraft and weapon system testing and fleet training exercises. Duties and Responsibilities: Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) for assigned projects. Support real-time flight test operations. Work with teams of engineers and scientists to create software programs to process live data from various instrumentation sources to present to flight test engineers in real-time. Collaborate effectively with team members, software users, and stakeholders to ensure project success. Conduct independent research to resolve complex technical issues. Utilize debugging tools and techniques within Windows and Linux development environments to identify and resolve software defects.
