About The Position

Tutor WSU students in Computer Science at the Davis Learning Center as part of the Learning Support department. Tutoring is done on a drop-in basis. Availability for drop-in shifts is determined by the tutor. We require and provide training in tutoring techniques. This is a pooled position. Applicants are selected from the pool as positions become available. After a period of time the pool will expire and applicants will be notified.

Requirements

• Must be a WSU student in good academic standing.
• Faculty recommendation or endorsement.
• Must be able to tutor at the Davis Campus.
• Must have earned a B or better in the courses you propose to tutor.
• A strong working knowledge of the subject matter you will be tutoring.
• Good listening, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Nice To Haves

• Ability to tutor many different courses.

Responsibilities

• Tutoring WSU students in Computer Science on a drop-in basis.
