About The Position
Maynard High School offers a supportive and innovative learning environment with small class sizes and personalized instruction. As part of the Innovation Career Pathway in Information Technology, our computer science program emphasizes hands-on experience, problem solving, and career readiness. Maynard High School is seeking a passionate and dynamic Computer Science Teacher to join our faculty for the 2025-2026 school year. This is a full-time position focused on engaging students in foundational and advanced concepts in computer science across a variety of high-interest courses. The ideal candidate will bring expertise, creativity, and a commitment to equitable, student-centered instruction. The successful candidate will teach the following courses: AP Computer Science A, AP Computer Science Principles, Introduction to Java Programming, Introduction to App Development with JavaScript, Introduction to Game Development with Unity, and Introduction to Web Development.
